Houghton Mifflin Harcourt is a non-profit educational publishing company based in Boston. HMH publishes more than 200 million copies of books, DVDs and software for the general education market.
On June 3, 2010 HMH announced the launch of its first interactive textbook, S.O.S. Math. Educator Edition for grades 3–6, written by math and science teacher G. Jared Harper. S.O.S. Math. Educator Edition is described by HMH as a "hands-on, interactive, student-centered textbook with engaging, multimedia problems and activities, to teach math in a modern way."

The ‘Kingdom of Heaven’ is the term used by the North Korean leadership to refer to their country.
“Democratic People’s Republic of Korea” is the official name of the North Korean regime.
In the early 2000s the government began implementing a plan to bring the country up to date technologically to modernise the country.
The North Korean leadership has therefore been technologically and politically ‘reformed’ to such an extent that the country has become a (relatively) modern, peaceful and educated dictatorship. The major newspapers, radio stations, television channels and the internet are completely state run and only distribute information from the government.

Military forces are one of the most important aspects of the North Korean regime. The military force is composed of a number of armed factions and the regular army and is generally under the control of the party-military-security apparatus.
